This apartment had everything you could possibly want and was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We had chosen this location and amenities to ensure that if we had bad weather, we would be catered for. As it happened we had the hottest week ever. We had everything we needed including juicer, washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, airer, hairdryer etc etc. We enjoyed eating out on the terrace using the BBQ. We also used the pool several times which was a very welcome cool off. The walk into Brixham only took 15/20 leisurely minutes and was part shaded under the trees, so very pleasant. There were a set of steps going down on to the promenade. The complex was very quiet and did not really see many people about. We had the pool to ourselves when we did use it. The little cove by the apartment was very pleasant, with café and toilets. The beach is ideal as it always had a bit of shade. The property is located on the coastal path and we did walk to Churston Cove and Elberry Cove one night, which was quite a walk, but again very scenic. The apartment is conveniently located for Brixham, which is an easy walk to save on parking! We also did Torquay via the ferry (Weferries are very good) and Paignton. We visited Berry Head, which you can walk via coastal path (it was too hot!) and also Salcombe.
The only slight negatives we had were that there were only blinds in the bedroom, which let a lot of light through, therefore our days started at 4:30-5am! Some blackout curtains might be useful. Also, maybe a little occasional table/coffee table in the lounge area, as we found if you were sat on the sofa with a drink there was nowhere to put it.
Fantastic week here and brilliant location. We would return if holidaying in Brixham again.
