We've just returned home from a couple of nights at Harbour View. We found the B&B spotlessly clean, fragrant (wonderful scented lilies in the breakfast room) and comfortable. The owners were friendly, helpful and attentive. Perfect position overlooking the harbour and bay. Our room was no 6, overlooking the bay. It was a triple (ie a double and a single), not huge but big enough. It had a nice, compact but modern shower room. My only gripe was that the water took ages to run hot in the sink and the shower pressure was a bit weedy but Im used to a power shower at home.

We'd definitely stay there again if in Brixham.

Room Tip: Room 6 on the 2nd floor had a good view and wasn't noisy.

We stayed here with another couple and had a lovely time despite poor weather. Breakfast as very well cooked and plenty of it. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. The window box did obstruct the view because of the miniature conifer tree which was as others have said annoying as what better than to wake up to a stunning view of the harbour and it's comings and goings - perhaps the owners would consider swapping the tree for low growing heather? But hey this is really picky as everything else was just fine.

Room Tip: Room 6 has great view and modern en-suite shower room.

Although a late review, thought it would be nice to still to put one on for anyone thinking of booking for this year to stay here.

I visited in May last year and it was a really lovely place to stay. The rooms are small, but hey if you want to be in a massive bedroom with a massive En-suite, then pay the price.

From first arriving we were made to feel welcome, I was helped with my case to my room, whilst my husband parked the car....parking is included in the price, which in Brixham is not the norm. We were with a large group of people who were staying in other places, who mostly had to go look for a parking space.

The beds were comfy and the en-suite facilities suitable. The location was amazing, overlooking the harbour. The breakfast was lovely, cooked fresh, homely and serene.

All in all a great experience and will certainly be going back.

Room Tip: as for a harbour view.....

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband and my daughter and her boyfriend on the 6th and 7th March. Easy walk to town and harbour, perfect position. Both rooms were spotlessly clean if a little snug, but had everything you need and were very comfortable. The window box outside the window in room 7 did distract from the harbour view a bit and I found this slightly annoying as you couldn't lie on the bed and fully appreciate the view. Room 9 (top of the house) had a lovely huge window which you could open wide and take in the amazing view. I did find the pillows a bit hard, but no-one else seemed to notice.

Breakfast was delicious, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients used in the cooked breakfast.

Parking space is provided in the harbour which is only a very short walk away. We would definitely stay again if we were to visit Brixham again.

we chose this B&B because of location an view, but it realy has so much more. The staff treated us like family, amking sude every moment was enjoyable. They advised on walks, restaurants, fish'n'chips, bus journeys and so much more.

the room(room 10) itself was excellent, and my wife and loved the querkyness of the provate bathroom.

when we go back to Brixham or Torbay in general, this is the only place we will stay, excellent!

Room Tip: Rooms 9 and 10 have the most far reaching views, btu 6 and 7 would be just as good.

Lovely room overlooking the harbour for our post-Christmas treat. Very quiet except for the wind tinkling through the yacht masts in the bay. Fantastic service from the staff, possibly because we were the only guests at the time!! Dinner was wonderful, and beautifully presented, as was the hearty breakfast the following morning. Brixham is a great place to wander round - even in the wind and gales, and the hotel was positioned to allow easy access to the town.

My partner and I stayed in room 6 and the aptly named Harbor View guest house delivered, as the name suggests, a great view of Brixham harbor. In addition to the view, the room itself was comfortable, clean, quiet and the property was in excellent proximity to the centre of town and the sights of Brixham.
The Staff in Harbor View were always friendly, happy to answer any questions and share local knowledge. The breakfast that was provided every morning was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Everything that you would want in a Full English Breakfast with additional cereals and fresh fruit to suit.
With its narrow winding roads and hardly an abundance of available parking, Brixham was not designed with cars in mind. However, Harbor View offered (on advance request) private parking right next to the Quay only a minutes walk from the front door. This was particularly good for us given the car trouble we had in the morning of our departure resulting in a much later than planned arrival.
Should we find ourselves on holiday in the South coast again we would happily pay a return visit to Harbor View.
