This is an interesting little museum, which puts the history of the local area and people into a global context and is therefore interesting to both tourists and locals alike.
Displays are thoughtful and engaging, with an interesting array of hands on tasks (knot tying and morse code for example). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and there is a lot of provision for children too.
