On a clear day this is a wonderful place to have a stroll and enjoy fabulous coastal views and nature. Be sure to visit the small cafe on the headland, the staff are very friendly, welcoming and pleased to see you and the food is of good cafe standard.

We visited the Cafe at Berry head for the first time - I was amazed at how good it was. Great coffee (even had soya milk) and very appetiziing healthy food options.

Walked here 3 times and it was beautiful. Views change with the weather and it's is spectacular from every vantage point. Lovely just to sit and listen to the sea birds.

Thoroughly recommend the cafe with its stunning cakes and friendly staff. Perfect for a walk at any time
Of the day.

Well worth a walk up to Berry Head. The walk is enjoyable and not too steep and there are forts from the 1800's to look around. There is also a good, modern large cafe. You can walk in a loop from the harbour, up and around the forts, along the cliff and back in to the other side of Brixham.

For some reason, and nice to see, health and safety has not 'gone mad' and there are no large fences blocking the view and spoiling the area - however it does mean if you have adventurous children/teenagers it would be worth keeping an eye on them, the cliff edge is au natural :)
