Booked through travel zoo and excellent value for money for bed breakfast and evening meal with free glass of champagne. Had a back of hotel room which was perfectly adequate for one night as spent the day exploring the harbour area and could enjoy the view from the restuarant windows in any case. The staff were very friendly and the excellent chef provided fresh sea bass and scallops all wonderfully cooked. The public bar Ernie Lister's had a good live band on afterwards which ended the perfect day for us. Thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: is it worth paying extra to have a harbour view for only one night?

We had a Travelzoo two night stay here. The upgrade room was lovely, quite small but with fabulous views of the harbour. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room spotless. the breakfasts were great, freshly cooked with a wide choice. Dinner each evening was excellent. Nice, large mussels, succulent scallops, beautifully cooked fish and wonderful desserts. The wine was also very good. Would we return? A resounding yes!

Room Tip: Harbour view room is a must!.

Very good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Hotel overlooks Brixham Harbour and the view from the window was worth the extra £20 upgrade. Look forward to our next visit to continue our walks around the stunning coastal footpaths.

Room Tip: Rooms appear to vary in size - This was our second stay - 1st time we did not have a sea view althou...

I recently stayed at the Quayside hotel which is situated right in front of Brixham harbour. We had the superior room and the place was beautiful.
It was very spacious and the bed was very large and extremely comfortable.
The view from the room at night was beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was off a menu and was very tasty and i would definitely stay there again.

I've read a few of the other recent reviews and wholly agree with them. Food great staff friendly and it was clean , the harbour view is a must. Local people really friendly.there is live music in a lot of pubs which adds to atmosphere. We would certainly go back to brixam and to this hotel .

Very comfortable hotel overlooking the harbour with great sea views out across Lyme Bay. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food excellent, both breakfast and evening meal. Rooms are tucked away in a labyrinth, but we had a good sized room on the top floor. Just down the hill and round the corner is the Blue Anchor pub. A proper pub, with good humoured locals who enjoy a bit of banter. Really enjoyed our chilled out weekend. Will definitely be going back for second helpings ! Thanks guys.

We stayed using the Travelzoo voucher offer. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, everything was lovley and very clean. The dinner was amazing, local fish cooked to perfection and great service. It was an excellent stay. Being very picky, our room was hot and airless at night as it overlooked a conservatory area, but we had a great time and would definitely go back one day.
