Nice menu and food was acceptable, however both scallops and monkfish were overcooked which was a shame. Service was good and the view over Brixham harbour was fantastic as the weather was great. Probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant to friends or family though and wouldn't go again.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! The room was great overlooking the brixham harbour! Waking up to the sound of seagulls every morning and having a glass of wine in bed while enjoying the romantic harbour lights was a fantastic experience! The hotel is really close to all the shops and amenities of brixham! Staff are helpful and polite and the cooked breakfast was fantastic! The free parking is also a big plus as parking in brixham can be really difficult! It was a lovely stay and we will most certainly return! Room number 34 is definitely the room with the best view because it had huge windows overlooking the harbour! It was perfect for us!

Just back from two nights in Brixham. Between the family group we had three rooms all of which were very clean, comfortable and full of character. My husband and I had a harbour view which was fantastic. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly giving the hotel a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Harbour facing rooms have the most wonderful view

This hotel is right on the harbour and the view from my window was amazing. I would recommend the cooked breakfast as it was of a very high standard, there is also a good selection of hot options. The buffet was slightly lacking with no croissants and not much fruit. My room was well furnished if a little worn and not cleaned to a very high standard. Nice shower pressure and big bath. The staff on the whole where friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Just had 3 nights at this hotel with a room looking over the bay. Had a good cooked breakfast each morning served by friendly staff. In the evening we ate in the Ernie Lister pub next door which is owned by the Hotel. Where you can get good food in pleasant surroundings with live entertainment on certain nights. The Hotel is on a very steep hill with the car park even further up the hill. The Hotel itself has been converted from 3 previous cottages and has no lift and very small winding stairs inside so you need to be fit! A good day out is to get the Ferry to Torquay £2 return from the Harbour.
