Stayed for three nights, river enchanting that runs by, shallow and paddleable? (in the summer) As it runs over stones, lots of walks, 20 mins to chagford which was delightful, nice tea rooms and boutiques, four friendly pubs. Mill end itself very comfortable, nice welcome, lots of little rooms to sit and read or have a drink in, breakfast beautifully cooked, evening meals equally so, service very good, rooms clean and comfortable, we had Teign so nice to have separate lounge. Liked the nod to sir frank whittle who invented the jet engine who lived there. Dogs very welcome and huge well done to housekeeping as it doesn't look like a dog has set foot in the place, so clean. A nice place to stay as very quiet.
