In the middle of Dartmoor, with very little around it, you come across this quaint pub. I’ve been here a few times, in different weathers. In winter there is always a flaming fire to warm you through but, this time, the weather was very warm.
Sitting outside with one of their local ales, viewing the Moors, was perfect. I cannot comment on the taste of the food but from what I saw coming out of the kitchens, it looked good, in fact very good.
If you can find it, it’s worth a visit.
