A local giftshop recomended the Wayside for the best village tea. He was correct. A lovely traditional cafe with nice sandwiches, cakes etc and the pot of tea was excellent. The surrounding both in and outside was very attractive and judging from the menu lunches would also be good bet

Prompt and attentive service combined with well cooked wholesome food make this one of the best venues of its type in the area. I would certainly visit here in the future.

They must of been the smallest scones I've ever had in Devon and I've lived here all my life defenately not the best in Devon would not recommend.
Also they could do with some heat in the toilets as it was really cold.

Had pasty & chips last week, scrummy and this week had a roast dinner. Very busy but still manage to be welcoming. Roast was good, fresh veg cooked properly, not " al dente".Also been several times just for coffee, always worth a visit.
