“Coffee”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

We stopped for coffee on our walk around this lovely part of the world, but I'm sorry to say the coffee was very weak, and also the millionaire shortbread was not very pleasant. There is a very nice outside sitting area to drink your coffee and watch the world go by, which we enjoyed.

“Ideal for english teatime”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

A local giftshop recomended the Wayside for the best village tea. He was correct. A lovely traditional cafe with nice sandwiches, cakes etc and the pot of tea was excellent. The surrounding both in and outside was very attractive and judging from the menu lunches would also be good bet

Prompt and attentive service combined with well cooked wholesome food make this one of the best venues of its type in the area. I would certainly visit here in the future.

“Small and a disappointment”
Reviewed 16 February 2014 via mobile

They must of been the smallest scones I've ever had in Devon and I've lived here all my life defenately not the best in Devon would not recommend.
Also they could do with some heat in the toilets as it was really cold.
