“Short but lovely stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014 via mobile

My son and I decided to go to dawlish for a two day one night stay, I saw the beeches advertised on line and knew that it would be a good place to stay so booked by telephone. On arrival,we were made to feel very welcome indeed and were given a cup of tea before seeing our room .the room was lovely, especially the en suite bathroom, and when it eventually came to bedtime , the bed was very comfy.breakfast was superb,so much choice and well cooked and presented. My only regret is that we weren't staying longer, but certainly will some time in the future.many thanks to Ian and christine

This is simply the very best b&b we have ever stayed in. The hosts ian and Christine are fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. With this stay we needed help with finding a dentist and they went out of their way to help us.

The rooms are amazing especially the deluxe room which is so lovely. The bed is really comfortable you sleep like a baby every night. The newly done shower in the ensuite is fabulous too.

I feel I can't close this review without saying how truly fabulous the breakfasts are!. The poached eggs are perfect and I promise you you will never ever eat homemade strawberry jam that tastes quite so amazing!. I am completely baffled as to why this establishment is only 4 stars it always feels like a luxury 5 star stay.

We have just had the pleasure of staying with Christine & Ian in their fantastic home. I always check Trip Advisor comments before I stay anywhere, always with a degree of scepticism, but as you can see they are awarded an "Excellent" star rating with rave reviews from their guests. QUITE RIGHTLY! This is a fantastic B & B in absolutely every respect. The hosts, from the time of email enquiry, to reception, daily contact etc. were marvellous, welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure that your stay is faultless. The whole house is immaculately clean with comfortable beds and chairs. The décor is pleasing to the eye and the views from the rear of the house to the sea are fantastic. It is quiet with no road noise. The breakfast was fresh, hot and perfect. The little touches in the bathroom and around the house add that little extra to your stay. They haven't been awarded a Gold Star because of pedantic reasoning. Trust me this is a Gold Star place to stay with Gold Star hosts. You will not regret spending your money here. We will definitely be re-booking for the future. Chris and Ian, keep up the great job and thanks.

Room Tip: All the rooms are extremely well presented, but I wish I had paid the extra £10 for the main suite a...

This b&b is simply amazing. Since the last time we stayed the deluxe room has been re-decorated, wow it's beautiful!. The deluxe room always was lovely but Ian and Christine have taken it to another level and its fabulous. Ian and Christine are the best hosts, they are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The breakfast is excellent too. We now think of Ian and Christine as friends. I can't recommend this b&b enough.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Beeches following our dance holiday at the Langstone Cliff Hotel. What can I say other than "first rate"! Clean, comfortable and charming hosts who really put themselves out for their guests.
My wife adds "a brilliant breakfast!"

Room Tip: Our en-suite room was beautifull!
