Stayed for 4 nights end of August 2013 with my partner in a tent. On arrival we were taken to our pitch (46A) very spacious and flat pitch right next to the facilities block (Toilets,Shower,Wash up area,Launderette,Skip and Drinking water tap) This pitch was great as we were next to everything but it has a slight down fall due to constant noise day and night, Cleaners clean at midnight onwards so would not reccommend this pitch if you have small children but it suited me and my partner. The nearest family pub/restaurant is located within a 5 minute walk which serves great food but is very busy so best to book a table.Aprox 10 t0 15 minute walk and your at Dawlish sea front, Slight hill so walking back takes slightly longer. Overall a great campsite located in a great place, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham all within a 20 - 30 minute drive away.

Stayed with the kids (7 and 4) for 7 nights at the end of august. What a wonderful site. Facilities were well kept and clean. The park was a great hub for the kids so they didn't go running around the main site and was closed at dusk to keep the noise down at night. There is a strict no noise to keep people awake after 11pm, and although we had a little problem with some noisy neighbours drinking and obviously having a great time in to the early hours, it is not that sort of site so the warden was very quick to remind them of the curfew and no more problems after that. Would highly recommend to anyone from small kids to retired couples in their caravans ( their were a few of each). We went over bank holiday weekend and although a little busier, there was still loads of space on the field and around the pitches for the place to have that freedom feeling. Both kids balled their eyes out when we had to go home and wanted to most definatly go back next year

In a nice location and easy walking distance to Dawlish Warren. Clean showers and toilets and well maintained. Just lacking enough of them. I think I counted 9 showers and hundreds of campers. Get up early to beat the Que.

Stayed here for three nights with my ten year old daughter. Very friendly, clean, quiet and well looked after site. Dawlish Warren is not 'upmarket Devon' by any stretch of the imagination, but the beach caters for all needs and if you want to escape the crowds a little walking will get you to secluded areas. Otherwise, as a base to explore Devon this is very well located, and if you are an occasional camper like myself you will find it very comfortable and welcoming. Great value for money.

Cheching in and checking out was quick and simple. The staff where nice and helpfull, the sites location was good although it was at the top of a hill (this gave it a nice view) the pitches were large enough and never to far from the toilets. At no point did I need to queue for the showers even though the site was full.

Pitch sizes were adequate, toilets and showers clean although there weren't many shower cubicles and there wouldn't have been enough had we gone in peak period. They were also 20p per shower and you needed 40p for a good long one. Washing up and launderette facilities available though and they were clean too. Good location. However the staff on reception were not very friendly and not very informative. They seemed more preoccupied with doing their books!

We stayed only two nights and found this campsite to be more than enough for what we needed. A bit of a treck up the hill from Dawlish Warren but there was a bus stop outside. Toilet block and showers very clean and tidy and all working which is rare. Very helpful staff and good size pitch. Could have had a bit of a bigger shop with more choice as next closest shop was in Dawlish Warre but provided a few essentials. Would come here again.
