What an interesting building with the original water wheel currently under restoration. The cream tea was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and obliging. No complaints at all excellent service

“Lovely”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

Cream teas were delicious. Proper pots of tea (made with loose tea). Nice little patio area to sit in overlooking the river if the weather allows.

“Lovely place for a snack”
Reviewed 2 September 2013

Only a small tearooms with outside room to eat, they don't have a huge range to eat mostly sandwiches, soup and cream teas. The sandwiches are lovely and so are the cream tea's, clean and tidy with bathroom facilities. Only one fault the staff do not talk much they could do with having a conversation and a smile!!!

“Lovely tea room”
Reviewed 29 August 2013

If you are in Dawlish this tea room is well worth a visit. It has a interesting history that you can read about whilst you are waiting for your food. We all had sandwiches which were lovely, good quality and filling. The menu provided a good choice and reasonable price.
