We stumbled on this place whilst looking for the Gurkha indian restaurant and decided to try it out. just had drinks so can't comment on the food. totally dog friendly and a great choice of ciders (cornish rattler our favorite) we found the roof terrace whilst looking for the toilet. The sun was shining and it was lovely sitting out there. A very friendly pub too. Lots of friendly locals. We almost missed our train because of finding the lansdowne. we shall be back.

A group of myself and friends visited this establishment on a Sunday morning, very quiet plenty of staff around. We ordered food around 11am and still waiting at 12:30pm. when asking a member of staff at what time our food will be coming out I was informed 'very soon' I was also informed a group of people have ordered food before us so there was a wait. I understand you have to be patient but waiting over an hour and a half for 6 full breakfasts is ridiculous. The gentleman behind the bar was lovely and service was excellent however you do not expect to wait nearly 2 hours for food to be served. Really disappointed.

We stumbled upon this pub when looking for somewhere open on a Monday night. We found friendly staff and hearty portions of pub favourites at very good prices. Plus nice beer.

We were recommended this pub by Nikki at the Lyme Bay House. It is a great family pub with good selection of food at a good price all day everyday. Unfortunately the kitchen was not open on our second venture there due to the rugby being screened on tv. Would have loved to have had another meal there, maybe next time.
