Everything is here if you enjoy a quiet place to stay. The static home was very clean and had everything you require. Just remember there is a small hot water tank so shower quickly. It was an easy walk down into Dawlish Warren where there are plenty of activities for children. Altogether a very pleasant stay with good weather.

Room Tip: Homes by the road can be a little noisy if you are sensitive to traffic sounds, but they have a good...

Stayed in one of the Oakcliff lodges for a few nights over Easter 2014. 3 bedroom lodge was great, roomy clean and comfortable. A lovely large decked area surrounding lodge was great, did'nt really get the time or weather to sit out though :( Excellent sea views :)
Would certainly recommend to others.

Just got back from a weeks stay in oakcliffe in one of the lodges and have to say right up until the very last night I could not fault it, the lodge was amazing, great value for money, staff were very helpful and check in was quick. Unfortunatly on the last night our next door neighbours decided to have a dip in there hot tub until gone midnight and decided to share there conversation with everyone within a mile radius, it was only when I turned my bedroom light on n opened the curtains that they even thought about anyone else being awake. This really annoyed us as it put a downer on a really good week and had to drive 2+ hours home on hardly any sleep but not going to mark the place down for that as not a lot they can do until after it happens the rules are in the book and people staying there should have consideration for other people. Overall an excellent stay.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our park. We are pleased you found the lodge amazing and good value for money, and we are pleased to hear the staff were all helpful. We are sorry to hear you had an issue with one of the neighbours – we do clearly state that the hot tub is not to be used after 10pm, and we did have a word with the people once it was reported the following day, but again we are sorry that this caused a disturbance to you. We are glad that your overall stay was excellent and we do hope you will visit us again soon.

Just got back from a week at oakcliffe . We have been having a week here for the last 4 years , lovely peaceful site . We stayed in a sandpiper caravan which we do each time we come here , it was lovely and clean when we arrived with plenty of bedding but unfortunately past its best now as carpet was very stained and front of shelf over the fire was a bit of a mess as edging was all broke . Beside that though I would recommend the site to anyone as its quiet and in a lovely area , we never moved the car once as the trains are very cheap and we had our bus passes . Only thing is we wished the site would sell newspapers as its a good hill for my hubby to go up and down every morning . Will definatly go back to oakcliffe but will look into staying in a lodge .

Good afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our park. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and have done for a number of years now! Oakcliff is a lovely park with peaceful surroundings for when you just want to get away from it all! Being centrally located it is ideal for the public transport as well. The sandpipers are now our older holiday homes, but you really can’t beat the luxury lodges with their views across the estuary! We do hope to see you again next year, perhaps in a lodge.

Just got back from a Weekend away at Oakcliff, wasn't sure what to expect as needed a dog friendly site for our 9 month old puppy to have a holiday to,but had read Tripadvisor reviews and all looked good.
Lovely Pine Lodge , really clean , warm when needed, everthing in Kitchen you needed supplied , took own linen but duvets, pillows all required, so was pleasantly surprised and beat any expectations we had. Loively grassland to walk dog, lovely and quite also which was a blessing - Dawlish Beach and nature resort less than 10 min walk away.
Only thing that marred holiday really was when we went to go out on Saturday Morning , after 1st night - 2 minutes down road tyre was flat as pancake - was a hire car so had to go through all procedure of calling them out etc , after 3 hours we finally had a rac man turn up who pumped up tyre , but said couldn't find anything obvious wrong with tyre either it had been let down or very very slow puncture . Did report to reception later that day when we finally got back to site after wasting half day of our holiday, just really to mention it and to to see if anyone else had problems but were sharply told 'no it would never happen here', tyre stayed up for remainder of stay after - so still not sure.and car gone back to hire company now so none the wiser

Good afternoon,
We are pleased to hear you found the pet friendly pine lodge clean, warm and well equipped, and enjoyed your time with us. I am sorry to hear of this problem with your tyre, we have never before had any issues like this and I have checked with reception to see if anybody else had a similar issue and nothing had been reported. We are pleased you were able to get home safely with no further problems with the tyre.
We hope to see you again soon.

We stayed at pine lodge number 4 in August the weather was brilliant. The lodge was in a perfect location - right by the play area so we could keep an eye on our five year old. The play area was really nice, never busy, even in the summer holidays. We visited Lady's Mile for the indoor pool which our boys loved. The rubber mats all over the floor around pool and in the changing rooms are hard and painful to walk on when you're bare footed not sure why there were so many?! We tried the outdoor pool but it was freeeezing, too cold for our 11 month old. Our lodge was quite modern, the kitchen was nice and the beds were comfortable. The reception staff were friendly, quick and efficient at check in. My only criticism is that there were a few splodges and stains on the skirting boards and dust under the bed. We plan to book next year and hopefully we can get the same lodge. We loved loved loved Dawlish!!!

Good morning,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our park. We are pleased to hear you all enjoyed your stay, found the lodge to be in a good location and being clean and tidy – but we will check the dust under the bed! We are pleased the boys loved the indoor pool, we apologise for the rubber mats, simply they are there for health and safety reasons to ensure people do not slip.
We hope you will come and stay with us again soon.

Just back from a lovely week at Oakcliff. Stayed in Oak Lodge 10. Park is peacful, clean and the views from the lodge balcony are wonderful. Childrens playground is well equipped and an added bonus. Weather was perfect so we made good use of the outdoor pool. Used indoor pool at Ladys Mile, lovely pool with slide for the children. Have been staying here since 1981 so they must be doing something right, looking forward to the pool being under cover for next year as we don't usally have such nice weather. Our lodge was comfortable but furnishings just starting to get a little tired and worn now the lodges have been there a while. Ideal place for a quiet family holiday.

Room Tip: The Oak Lodges on the front row have the best views of the estuary.
