“Just stunning”
Reviewed 11 July 2014 via mobile

Was taken here by some friends who live locally. A real hidden gem. Stunning views over the river Dart, extensive menu of fresh locally caught fish.
Oysters plump and creamy, mussels large and juicy followed by a 4lb monster of a crab shared amongst us with fresh salad and fries all washed down with prosecco. A seafood lovers paradise. Highly recommended

“Amazing as always”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

I love love love this café! I live in Dartmouth and come to Dittisham often and will always come and eat here. The views are incredible, the food is always cooked perfectly and the staff are always welcoming. I love how they source all their food from the local area and it really shows. The fish is always fresh and the salads are always crisp and very tasty. I had the mussels on Sat 5th July and they were beautiful! I will be coming back again again.

“What a shame”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 via mobile

As we enjoyed it last year, looked forward to this year. On arrival, we were advised of half hour wait, we waited, then noticed people who had arrived after us had been served, one hour later, we asked what was happening..."yours is next out"... No apology... Other food was served but not ours. No acknowledgement. We asked again, we were told it was coming, again no apology. One and a half hours later we were served our simple lunch of grilled mackerel on a bed of leaves, not even chips to complicate the order! I asked for an explanation, I was told the kitchen was busy, I pointed out how others were served despite arriving after us. The young lady said she would come back, she didn't. The food was delicious, the view was delightful, a delay is understandable but the lack of apology and being ignored was unacceptable. Just not good enough.

“Local fish at its best”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Friendly service, nice wine locally caught fish and shellfish in lovely surroundings. Choice of indoor and outdoor eating, best outside on a sunny side. Only book for first setting at 12, otherwise you may have to wait a while.

“Wonderful Location with Fresh Local Food”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

This is a lovely spot close to the ferry at Dittisham that specialises in local seafood. The staff are friendly and deliver the food and local knowledge with equal aplomb. We enjoyed a fresh monster of a crab and fillet of turbot with fries and a delicious salad. A summer pudding was a splendid end to a most enjoyable lunch. The drinks list is well thought out with local wine, cider and fruit drinks a feature. We'll be back as soon as we can.......
