“Afternoon tea treat”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

We always alternate this cafe with the Ferry boat in but the cafe won today and we wasn't disappointed . Tea for two in China cups, loose tea and homemade lemon drizzle to die for....yummy!
Only criticism was one of the table for two was directly opposite the toilets.....so we moved. Need to put something infront or not have a table there....
Always good there.....

“Love the Anchorstone !”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

This place is a treat ! It is always very busy in the high season,July, August.(so be patient) You will not be disappointed, the staff are friendly and efficient and the food is excellent, The best way to get there is by ferry from Dartmouth as Ditsum was not built for cars. Where else can you enjoy a boat trip to a fantastic restaurant, Enjoy & Chill !

An unbeatable dining experience in one of the most truly beautiful settings. With friendly hosts, top service and consistently top food, the Anchor Stone Café continues to be an all time favourite of mine.

“Fantastic setting , great service , and good food ! What more could you ask for?”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Visited on a busy Saturday with friends- booking essential although walk ins possible I believe later in the afternoon.GReat location overlooking the Dart river. Excellent prompt service and a varied menu of fresh local ingredients with a fish bias. The ice creams and desserts are dangerous!! Wine list good selection and good value. The cafe is located at the bottom of a hill and parking in the steep narrow village streets can be a challenge -
