“A lovely family break”

We had a lovely week staying at Sandpark Cottage. Our 1 year old and 3 year old loved the 3 dogs, ducks, geese and 2 cats! They wanted lots of daily walks around the grounds to find them. We were made to feel very welcome by Charlie and Tom and got some great advice from them about local places and a good alternative route home to avoid the August congestion.
The location was fab and we visited many places close by- Lynton, Lynmouth, crow point, Saunton Sands, Coombe Martin, Watermouth Castle, the milky way, a dinosaur park & the Arlington National Trust estate. There was also a lovely play area just up the road.
We also used Barnstaple to have a few good (& free courtesy of tesco clubcard vouchers!) meals out.
We would definitely stay again.

“Fantastic, friendly and peaceful stay”

Thomas and Charlie were brilliant hosts, they had a lot of knowledge and helpful information about the area. We had a bottle of wine and flowers on arrival which was a lovely touch. The cottage was clean, good size and had everything you could need, such as a highchair and games even if you have children. The ducks, geese and dogs were lovely and the eggs were delicious! Lovely location for the beach, towns and countryside such as Watersmeet.

The dogs think this place is heaven sent and running -at the far end - on the Woolacombe sands has been great exercise for them

“One of the nicest rentals we have had.”

Just what we were looking for, lovely cottage, very friendly owners (and house sitter). Great to have dogs for ours to play with. Lots of opportunities for walks on the coast and moor.
Welcomed with wine, flowers and eggs, what more could you ask. Despite seeing more rainbows in one week than ever before had a really great time.

Lovely cottage in North Devon with a beautiful garden and lots of outdoor space. Tom and Charlie were fantastic hosts with great local knowledge. The cottage itself was ideal-we're all tall but you learn to duck!! We took our dog who had a great time with the owners dogs! A twenty minute drive took us into the heart of Exmoor or to the stunning coast with its clifftop walks and amazing dog friendly sandy beaches. Didn't eat out much but cooked easily in the cottage which had everything we needed. Enjoyed some late night chats and a glass of wine or two with Tom and Charlie in the summer house! Hope to return one day as there was plenty more to explore and this is the perfect base to do that from.
