Excellent hotel and location for a short break, we have just had a couple of nights at The Crown to recharge our batteries.
What a lovely location in a beautiful little village, our room was No.9 and overlooked the village green, a comfortable room with en-suite toilet and shower, towels were beautifully soft and toiletries were supplied.
Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room along with bottles of water and biscuits.
Breakfast was delicious just right to start your day before you go off walking.
We didn't have a meal at The Crown as we had already eaten before we arrived, we just had some sandwiches in the evening in the bar which was quite busy but a good atmosphere.
On our 2nd evening we did eat at another pub in the village, The White Horse, which was good.
I would certainly recommend this hotel and would return for another weekend break in the future.
Thanks for your hospitality.More
