Thanks to a unasked for upgrade enjoyed a thoroughly good night at Edgcott House. A beautiful interiors complements a delightful garden. The property is a flat ten minute walk to the centre of Exford and it's pubs. The following morning the attentive and friendly hosts provide a wonderfully varied breakfast menu. You won't fail to be impressed as you make your choice in their delightfully decorated long room. Recommended

This is our second stay at Edgcott House, and my husband and I always leave feeling totally spoilt. The attention to detail in the rooms and bathrooms are first class…locally sourced aromatherapy products in the bathroom, freshly baked cake each day left in your bedroom…if only I could live there forever! I have yet to mention the breakfast, which is TOTALLY DIVINE…possibly the best breakfast you will ever eat! Ingredients are locally sourced (think ducks eggs with freshly caught smoked trout, banana & honey porridge with poppy seeds and almonds and vegetarian full english with homemade baked beans, girdled avocado, portobello mushrooms, baked tomatoes and eggs! Bread and preserves are homemade too. YUM! The house and gardens are beautiful, and you really are amongst some beautiful countryside. Your life will be enhanced for staying here, trust me!

Room Tip: The view over the garden and faraway hills is blissful!

This guesthouse is in a superb location in the middle of the Exmoor National Park, it had comfortable rooms and the owners make excellent breakfasts, with local produce, home made jams and home made baked beans (highly recommended to try).
