“Relaaaaaaaaaaaxxxxxxxed!”
Reviewed 28 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

Was it only a week, it felt much longer!! Had a wonderful time. Not been to Exmoor before, scenery stunning even at this time of year, despite the weather! Cottage was great, more than enough space for the two us of plus two dogs. Everything we needed, very home from home, warm and cosy. Michelle and Dave are warm and welcoming hosts. We had an excellent time and will be back in the summer.

Yet another fantastic stay with Dave and co arrived and was greeted straight away shown round our cottage by our friendly host. Love Exmoor just a shame the wasn't dry! Oh well at the least the dogs enjoyed it. Once again thanks for a great relaxing stay.

“A very welcoming place to stay, great for active hols”
Reviewed 5 August 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We had a great stay here in the May hols. We took our daughter Ellie her dog Bert and our two horses all were made to feel very welcome.
The walking and bridleways are fantastic, We rode from the cottage to Tarr steps , Dunkery beacon and Winford hill mainly on tracks and quite lanes.
The cottage is so well positioned you do not need to use a car.
We found the cottage very comfortable (much larger than it looks on the web, huge kitchen) the enclosed garden was great for the dog and relaxing to sit out in .
Michele and Dave do a great job and really offer value for money thank you for having us we hope you will have us to stay again

“Top quality facilities in a good setting with excellent owners.”
Reviewed 17 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Mountain Ash is a half of a two cottage barn conversion. The quality of the finish is very high with good attention paid to the detail. The farmhouse kitchen and living room are spacious and well stocked. The bathroom is small but the bedrooms (particularly the master) are a good size. The garden is particularly excellent for both dogs and children.

Court Farm is just outside Exford, less than 5 minutes walk to the village (for pubs and shops) and the village itself is centrally located for exploring the Moors and the beaches.

The owners couldn't have been better or more helpful, even getting in an extra baby gate and cot for our 1 year old child. Cant recommend this cottage too highly!

“Ideal cottage in a quiet beautiful area”
Reviewed 20 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Lovely cottage with large, comfortable lounge, large kitchen and double bedroom with a smaller twin bedroom, both with their own sinks. Bathroom small but adequate. Large enclosed back garden ideal for dogs or small children.
Very scenic area with walks from the cottage when you soon left all sight and sounds of habitation apart from sheep & cows. Could do with a few more local walks information.
Very dog friendly spot with both the owners and adjoining property owners with dogs.
Two pubs in village serving good pub food at reasonable prices & dog friendly.

Made very welcome by Dave & Michele. Would certainly book again when we holiday in Exmoor

“Short break with the dogs”
Reviewed 19 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We struggle to find places to stay that look after both our needs and our dogs, but Court Farm Cottages do just that. The local area is easily accessible with the moors and beaches nearby which again cater both for our lively cocker spaniel and our old westie (who can only manage an amble on e beach on a good day) and lovely places for us to visit as well.

This was only a quick visit but we will definitely be back to relax amd explore some more. I think I might also be visiting to use some of the hills to train for my lands end John o'groats trip in 2014.

“Wonderful cottage in an idealic setting”
Reviewed 28 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday, the cottage was clean comfortable and welcoming, we were able to order groceries to be there waiting for us when we arrived,it was also lovely to have tea, coffee, sugar and milk,as a welcome package.
We were made to feel welcome by everyone we met,and to be able to take all 4 of our dogs with us made the experience so much better not having to put them into kennels and wonder if they were ok.We made use of the dog sitting service offered ,we felt happy leaving the dogs knowing they would be taken care of, enabling us to go out for a meal in the evening or during the day to go shopping.
We certainly hope to return either later this year , or for longer next year.
