I phoned at 7pm on a Friday evening and was able to book a table for my wife and I for 8:20 pm for which I was very pleasently surprised. This was our first visit here, and we were delighted by the decor and welcome on arrival. I was surprised that there were only 2 other couples dining while we were there on a summer Friday evening.
The service was prompt, I had scallops to start and grey mullet on mash for main, (no sea bream available on the night so was offered Mullet as alternative) while my wife had tiger prawns to start and sea bass on mash for her main course. All the dishes were beautifully presented and were cooked to perfection. Honestly the best fish dishes we have ever had!
I had snow eggs for dessert which were lovely, and Olivier came and spoke to us before we left. A charming and skilled chef, this restaurant deserves to be filled with customers and a nightly basis. Prices were at the top end of what I would normally pay, but the few pounds extra for each course reflect the excellent quality of the food. Highly recommended.
