Easy access, great facilities, amazing staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. Professional and friendly team. Rooms were fantastic, great food. Have booked again, so have my friend and her parents. Great holiday, thanks.

Arrived yesterday for a one night stop over with wife and daughter, first thing I noticed was how clean it was, inside and out, staffed by great and helpful people, room was warm, but in the heat we are having that is no surprise, beds were comfy and room was spotless, breakfast was swift and not cold or cooked yesterday, it was great, not one moan about nothing, quite throughout the night so not disturbed once.

For a great stay at a great price, you would need your head looking at if you did not consider The Dolphin, wife awoke with a migraine this morning and the staff were faultless, they went out of there way to assist, to which we will be forever grateful, that's why we rate this hotel excellent, the staff made all the difference to our stay, Thank you and well done for being just fab.

We found this hotel by walking in at 7pm, very exhausted after haven't found any hotel in Exeter where every hotel was fully booked. This time we were lucky and got 2 rooms to stay! First we wanted to continue our journey the next day but we extended our holidays day by day and at least we stayed here 6 (!) days! All these days we saw only female managers, very friendly and helpful. We liked the nice rich breakfast, the cockies and hot waterboiler for preparing a nice tea...hm fine! We enjoyed the rooms and the short distance to the beach, bike rides, well it was a really nice surprise, this hotel! Thank you! Angeli,Valentin,Winona from Switzerland, july 2014

Room Tip: A very quiet double is number 2, but very nice is number 27! The rooms above the entrance listens to...

We found this hotel to be a very clean stunning rooms ,good size and great bathroom shower areas ,we were located on the ground floor in room 20 and it is very large.
Breakfast with cereals with lots of choice and full english very nice indeed also a nice bar area to relax in on the night.
Not to far from the town centre and only 4 minutes walk to the beach would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great staff always willing to help and have knowledge of local area.

Was looking to book a hotel for a long weekend in Exmouth but needed to allow dogs which this I'm pleased to say does. No problem at all considering our dog is a large german shepherd, all three of us enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Great position, less then 5 minutes walk from the town and beach. Great breakfast and a nice bar to chill out in. All very clean and tidy.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the room was massive! I don't think I have slept on a bed so big, they had pushed 3 single beds together and obviously found a quilt from a giant but it was sooooo comfy.
We would stay again, most definitely, with a quality tv, comfy chairs, bath and shower and friendly staff, oh and a nice breakfast too.
Not far from the town centre, sea front and train station all within 10 minutes walk.

Very friendly helpful people in a nice traditional coastal hotel. Excellent facilities, very clean and fresh with a perfect location for walking to all the local amenities. The breakfast was freshly cooked and more than adequate with a good selection of cereals and nice tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble. Very good value and a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Twin rooms have a wee bit more space and more windows to open
