We visited franklins on a sunday afternoon and were immediately greeted by a very friendly member of staff who helped us to move a table into the sun and brought us a menu. The place itself is situated in the cafe quarter and as well as inside seating it has a few outside tables too. We had our dog with us and they were very accommodating bringing water for him without us having to ask. Dogs are also allowed inside. We just shared a pannini but it was very tasty, served with chips and salad. The best part of the visit was the service, I think it was the owner who served us and chatted with us but she was lovely and it makes all the difference! We would come back if it wasn't so far from home!
