We stopped here for lunch, girls only, whilst our partners were fishing. The scenery was amazing, good view of the sea, nice park view as well. It is far enough down the beach - next to the pavillion that it wasn't too busy.
Food - well priced. We bought between us; jacket potato, kids jacket meal, soup of the day, prawn cocktail and finally I had cheesy chips and homemade coleslaw.
All the food was stunning, really good portions and really good food. Well priced, more than reasonable, none of us cleared our plates. The homemade coleslaw was some of the best.
My disappointment was the service. The girl clearing up was really polite and friendly, she cleared our plates away at an appropriate time and made conversation - really nice. The let down was the gentleman who was clearly having a bad day and was insulting customers who had been sat behind us - I get they may not have been the best customers but try not to let other customers overhear. It made me more conscious of how messy we were or were not - as we had two young children. I do think it was probably just a bad day and would go back to try again.
