We were fishing on the quay side with no luck and decided to have breakfast instead. Party of five, made to feel welcome, and food was really good value and quality, place was no frills but clean and tidy...traditional working man café, but welcomes visitors as well as regulars.

Probably the worst cafe I have ever been to, which if truth be told is saying a lot. To start with the atmosphere was terrible created by the extremely miserable staff there. It was quite clear every person they served was a hassle to them. A 45 minute wait on a breakfast is quite pathetic even at the busiest of times and just not good enough.

The Customer service was disgraceful. When I asked for another cup of tea due to it being so cold because of the endless wait, I was told no you can't. To my amazement I questioned the lack of customer service to a member of staff and he just said can't you see it's busy, which I replied yes it's breakfast time.

I have been told in the past that this cafe wasn't too bad compared to the other ones in town but it is quite clear that their standards must of really slipped as this was possibly my worst experience ever in a cafe.

The food it's self was very poor value and was by no means worth the wait. I certainly will not be using this cafe again and will not recommend to any fellow locals.

I suggest if you would like a good value breakfast with a friendly atmosphere then stay in town.

Adjacent to the Exmouth front and marina, this cafe is ideally located for locals, walkers, cyclists, holiday makers and people who like a hearty breakfast or lunch

I think that the food quality, prices and people who go in there are the best around

good sized portions, plenty of choice, not over expensive, reasonable quality, the only drawback is that you can wait for ages for the food when they're busy
