Excellent slow food cafe, food always freshly cooked- breakfast is always good, not in a rush though! Staff are very friendly and open to changes. Take away is always well presented.

Stopped here for breakfast before heading home. The lad on the till taking orders was curt and quite off when I asked for a bacon sandwich then decided to have an egg as well after seeing eggs being fried as they looked good.... he ripped the order slip up and wrote all the order out again- reluctantly. I was made to feel as though i was an awkward customer.
The tea was then freshly made but sloshed into a mug from the tea pot, possibly after me being a pain asking for an egg.
Breakfast came and whilst cooked, the bacon was a bit on the anaemic side with fat still white and fatty, not at all crispy. Nice thick bacon though and a lovely runny egg (worth adding to the order!). Husband enjoyed his full english breakfast but had sane comment about the bacon.
Not sure we'll be back...

Ordered 4 Large coffees from the little guy who didn't know the price and had to ask the young woman who in turn had to ask the old woman owner.Received 4 mugs which were only three quarters full, priced at £9. The amount of coffee would have filled the small mugs which we had the last time we visited priced at £6. The miserable old woman owner just shrugged and said the volume of coffee was correct. So in fact we paid for large mugs filled with small mugs of coffee. Called here many times but won't be calling again.
