large very clean room but dated, in need a of a revamp, mattres and pillows need replacing, shower poor, noisy lift next door to our room. staff very efficient apart from the grumpy barman mentioned in a previous review! attended for a wedding, must say food was excellent! limited parking but didn't cause us a problem. had to wait to be seated for breakfast, didn't bother 2nd morning.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting a friend. The hotel is very well situated, close to town, beach and restaurants. There is very little parking at the hotel, and you have to very careful that you are not parking on Yellow Lines. The hotel is very clean and nicely antiquated. We did have a few problems however, we were expecting a sea view - we got a room across the courtyard overlooking a road and houses. We were on the ground floor, which meant couldnt keep windows open (very hot weekend), heard everything, from dogs barking, seagulls, people walking past our window at all times of night and car alarms. Towells in the bathroom resembled that from the Pound Shop - not fluffy and thick - but practically transparent. The hotel in general is absolutely baking, its like a sauna in every part of the hotel. We are a young couple who have travelled extensivley and stayed in many hotels across the world, this is a nice hotel but nothing great at all and we wouldnt stay here again.

We were at the hotel for a wedding reception. Excellent location, nice hotel, very accomodating reception staff (early check in). Not masses of parking around the hotel when busy and the terminally grumpy (rude) older italian (?) waiter were the only things stopping this being a 5*. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend, thinking of going back for a seside weekend break with the kids.

We had a 4 night stay and were extremely impressed with everything. Staff outstanding, nothing too much trouble. Food both evenings and breakfast really is 5*. Room was great with wonderful estuary view. Can't praise this friendly and comfortable highly enough and we are considering a return already!

Room Tip: Estuary view room was great.

From start to finish very, very good indeed. Family run with pride and service excellent.Staff happy, friendly and wanting to please. Sea view room big and with stunning views. Room could do with a refurbish perhaps - loads of potential. Bathroom fine but sadly shower lacked power which, combined with limited parking stopped me from giving excellent over all. Breakfast very good indeed and again charming service. Italian restaurant we very much liked.Standard of hotel bar was very good and comfortable. Gardens an added bonus- a few more tables scattered around would be beneficial.
Spare weekend and we shall be back.
A real find . Thank you for a lovely stay.

We booked via an agency and got a really good rate, when we arrived we were upgraded and got a room with fantastic views.

Would certainly stay here again if ever we're in the area.
