Whilst on holiday at Devon cliffs we decided to have lunch at the South Beach Cafe, on first impression the view is literally second to none overlooking the beach and coastline. The restaurant itself uses local fish caught fresh from the following day so despite not really being into seafood we had fish and chips. The fish was very very nice and the meal in general was very good (cheese on toast for the kids is a great idea)
My only criticism would be the price tag, we all know that we will pay a little more for the location and based on the fact it is part of Devon Cliffs but I think it is a little over the top. We had lunch in Exmouth a few days later, very similar food but half the price (perhaps not quite as good as South Beach in fairness)
All in all we would definitely visit again more than anything for the location.
