We had a great time at Devoncourt Hotel, Adele my wife and the kids, love Exmouth, ideally to explore the area, I would highly recommend the welcome meeting 10 am sunday, Jammy explains almost everything you can do in the Area , and the weeks activities, at the Resort, The Leisure facilities are great , swimming and Spa, the restaurant is wonderful and excellent value for money, but you can still do your special meals as most of the suites have their own kitchen. The Staff are amazing and they seem to know what they are doing, Hailey, Fern, Mel, Jamie, and Mr Stoneman ( GM) , thanks for giving my family that special attention that you give all your guests , definitely looking forward to our next holidays at your hotel...a special mention also to all the staff that I couldn t mention as housekeeping ...by the way the Chrismas decorations seems to be going on, and I am sure for those who will be staying the next weeks will be able to see it..... Kind Regards from The Semaanis

Stayed here for a short break of just a week. Really enjoyed our stay in Nadia suite. Self catering apartment. Well equipped and clean. I agree with others that rooms need a facelift/update as they are a bit old fashioned, but comfortable and clean none the less. Showers are small and loos/bathrooms may have a crack here and there, but it all adds to the character of the hotel. The bar was pleasant and we also ate at the Brasserie which was excellent. All the staff were very helpful, we would definitely continue to come back regularly. The grounds are lovely with sea views and it takes about 15 mins walk down to Exmouth town. A visit to Budleigh makes a great day out.

We have had our family holidays over the last 26 years, and have always enjoyed our time at the Devoncourt. The Staff have always looked after us well, and nothing has ever been to much trouble for them. The housekeeping staff have kept the rooms etc in excellent condition, and replaced any items that required attention. The Hotel is situated in a wonderful setting with views over the Exe estuary from most rooms, A short walk into the town, with good bus and train services into Exeter. An ideal holiday holiday location.

Room Tip: Rooms with a sea view, are worth considering, if only for the wonderful views.

We find this Hotel to be a pleasant friendly place to stay. Easy to walk to the beach and town.
Views from most rooms overlook the coast. We have stayed at the Hotel numerous times and always found the Staff to be helpful and friendly, the whole place is maintained in a clean and tidy standard, although the decor in some of the rooms is now looking dated. The Restuarant is run by a Family business, and provides excellent high quality foods and service, nothing is too much trouble. We enjoy using the Indoor Pool, although there is an outside one as well.
Exmouth itself is a charming, sort of old fashioned place, but we think that this is good.

Room Tip: Top rooms have the best views. Rooms do vary in size and shape and have different facilities...

Stayed here for a short break with husband and two kids, aged 16 and 12. Really enjoyed our stay in room 205 Julia suite. Self catering apartment. Well equipped and clean. I agree with others that rooms need a facelift/update as they are a bit old fashioned, but comfortable and clean none the less. Showers are small and loos/bathrooms may have a crack here and there, but we only used it for a base. The bar was pleasant and we had bar snacks one evening which were fresh and tasty. The leisure complex was fab and very welcome after a day walking along beaches etc. All the staff were very helpful, we would definitely go back. The grounds are lovely with seaviews and it takes about 15 mins walk down to Exmouth town. If you want a taxi down, it's about a fiver.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a seaview, Julia suite, second floor, only had a sea peep, from the kitchen w...

I stayed here last weekend, it was a treat for my wifes birthday, I chose it because it was rated 4 star, and the location, the location is great, overlooking the sea, staff were great, food was ok, the facilities are very good, gym, pool, etc, but its more like a 3 star, it does,nt have the luxury of a 4 star hotel, a little bit tired, and needs some updating, but overall a pleasant stay.

Well what can I say, if you want a traditional hotel set in fantastic gardens offering wonderful sea views then look no further than the Devoncourt.

Friendly enthusiastic staff where nothing is to much trouble, great service with a smile.

They have a fantastic leisure complex, which boasts one of the best indoor swimming pools I have seen.

Great selection of freshly cooked food from the restaurant.

If your coming to Exmouth then you must stay at the Devoncourt.
