Found New Moorings searching for somewhere to stay a few days while attending a wedding. Had only gone on Coach Holidays before and was anxious about booking on a hotel in this way.
What was there to worry about! From the first phone call we were made welcome. Michelle and Dave were brilliant, friendly, helpful, even picking us up at the bus stop on arrival.
The breakfasts were brilliant, especially the mushrooms (thanks a million-any hotel who does mushrooms, real ones, for breakfast is a real hotel!) A lovely small B & B, only 6 rooms.
It was clean, comfortable, tea tray to greet us, hospitality tray, ensuite. What a lovely couple and a great place to stay - no doubt we'll be back.
Thank you Michelle and Dave, for everything.

Room Tip: We didn't have a room with a view but were just there to sleep in it and was comfortable in every way.

The first thing you can see is the word "smile" beside the door: it's true.
The second one, indoor, "Enter as strangers. Leave as friends". It's true,
too.
Dave waited us until we arrived at midnight, very friendly, as we needed
after our tired trip.
Pretty and clean room, and tasty breakfast (scrambled eggs, hash
brown,...).
They gave us, too, helpful information to visit Exeter.
So, Dave and Michelle are, from now, our new friends in Exmouth.

A warm welcome awaits you at New Moorings. From the phone call to make the booking Michelle and Dave were very friendly and helpful and even offered to meet me from the station.
Room comfortable with ensuite and TV. Tasty breakfast with a good choice and excellent poached eggs. Good travel advice and visit suggestions helped me make the most of my time in Exmouth. ideally located for the station, shops, leisure centre, seafront and ferry. As a sign in the hallway says 'Enter as strangers, leave as friends'.
