This was my 5th consecutive visit to Ashbury manor at Easter, unfortunately few issues are starting to rise. staff, although never the happiest bunch around were less smiley and certainly less knowledgeable, reception were on the edge of being rude, bar staff were like robots and some of the waiters at dinner service had a very low knowledge of English and the process of serving it.On Easter it sunday it rained heavily and for some strange reason the drying room next to the main building was turned off, particularly annoying when it was like a sauna in there for the previous 2 days so all golfers annoyed when picked up wet equipment Monday morning !!.
Golf shop staff were great as always, food was excellent and varied and the Golf course's once again played very well and were very well maintaned especially for the level of use they have.
I always reccomend Ashbury to my friends and will continue to do so, but, its not just about number of amenities you can put on, interacation with your customers should be a higher priority than it feels like.More
