The Barn at Cotmore Farm is idyllic. The accommodation is luxurious and spacious, the facilities exceed one's expectations. The owners are down to earth and professional.

The area is close to plentiful beaches, coastal walks, all in an unspoilt, peaceful, rural location.

Food! Freshly caught fish at Beesands only a mile away, very good tea and scones at Seebreeze in Torcross.

Lots of wildlife to spot in nature reserves nearby, even on the farm at Cotmore.

There are wonderful National Trust properties within reach, such as Overbecks and Coleton Fishacre for a great daytrip.

A highly recommended property.

“Perfect escape for young family.”

We found Cotmore Barn through a straightforward Google Search. The reviews were glowing and it was in a perfect location for us. We phoned the owners who were really helpful and down to earth and sorted out our booking in a straight forward personal but professional manner.

The accommodation was beautifully presented and perfect for a 1 year old and 3 year old as it had lovely wooden floors and slate with underfloor heating which meant it was both comfortable and we didn't have to worry about spilling anything on carpets etc (there is one carpet on the stairs however) This may not be important to many but to those with young children it is! The showers are fantastic and the kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you'll need and if you don't have something then Piers and Sue will quickly help you out if they can.

The kids loved the big trampoline and open spaces behind the barn and the fact we could wander around the farm looking at chickens, pigs, horses, ladybirds, beetles etc. etc..was an added bonus

There is a lovely sun trap barbecue terraced area at the back of the barn which is really private and a great spot to relax.

There's a well stocked book selection too and wireless if you need it although the thick barn walls make it a bit flaky which was a perfect reason not to check my emails!

All in all a great holiday!
