“Excellent experience”

We have utterly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Devon. Rose Cottage is perfectly situated, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. Lovely place, friendly hosts. Heads up: beware of the welcome basket, local produce is addictive. We'll certainly return.

“Great place, lovely people and would book again.”
Reviewed 3 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

The cottage had everything we wanted and is well situated within the farm having a lovely private garden for sitting out. The location is just behind Beeson village and is very well placed both for the coast and for visiting Salcombe and Totnes. A good place for foodies with a farm shop and plenty of places to eat nearby. Piers could not have been more helpful and we enjoyed collecting our eggs, feeding the pigs and filling the wood burner. We had a very enjoyable week being very lucky with the April weather but even if conditions were less favourable there would be lots to do.

“Great location to explore Devon, idyllic spot with great private and secure garden”
Reviewed 17 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Great hosts and lovely spot to base yourself for lots of walks and fab local food. Britannia@the beach in Beesands is a gem and you can walk along the rocks (avoiding all the fishing rods on the beach) to Torcross at low tide. Walk the oppposite direction to the Lighthouse.

Go to East Portlemouth top car park early, walk along to Gara Rock and return ferry over to Salcombe! Bantham estuary a good long walk. Wonwell Beach walk back to the Dolphin in Kingston. Little Dartmouth car park to Castle and in to town, returning inland.

Cotmore farm is the idyllic location for a relaxing stay in beautiful Devon surrounded by glorious countryside. The welcome couldn't have been better, we arrived to find the woodburner already lit and a welcome pack to include freshley laid eggs, milk, butter, bread, coffee and other goodies waiting for us. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed with everything you would need for a stayfrom irons, to hairdryers, coffee pots to washing machine and evey baking dish and tin you could hope for. The cottage is bright, light and airey with French doors that open onto a delightful private garden with bbq. The choice of coastal walks and beaches is amazing and some of the pubs and restaurants are brilliant. Cant wait to go back. Highly recommended!!
