“Great fun!!”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Visited Dingles today and it was well worth the trip. A nostalgic day out down memory lane. Was greeted by Roger at the reception who was really friendly and helpful. Had a great time wandering around and trying out all the traditional rides. My daughter had her first ride on the bumper cars ( she is 21 !!), in fact we went on 3 times! Not laughed so much in a long time. All the staff were really helpful including the man who had to show my daughter how to drive!
Visited the cafe and explained my daughter was unable to chew any food so the lovely staff offered to blend the soup down for her, It was the first meal she has enjoyed for weeks..... thank you. I had the savoury Devon tea which was scrumptious.
We shall certainly return again and bring all our family. boyfriends & girlfriends next time.

“Very Interesting & Great fun on the Rides”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

This place is extremely interesting and full of lots to look at. The best thing about it is the fact that hardly everything is free to either touch, use or ride. They could have very easily had signs plastered everywhere saying "Do not touch"
The rides themselves are great to go on although a lot are pretty much the same kind of idea. Would have been nice to have a couple of different types mixed in with the ones that just go round and round. Some are very aged and could be seen as vintage but we jumped at the chance to actually get on them. I'm sure they're perfectly safe.

It is a little expensive. especially if you have children but for a couple like us, its very interesting and worth it. I very much doubt young children would find this much fun even with the rides to try out. I even doubt a family would spend much time here if the parents couldn't bring this to life for their children.

When we went there was plenty of people to assist and the guy at the front desk was very helpful.
They didn't mind us taking pictures which is a must for us.

We also had dinner there which was decent but again would stack up if you had a family.

“A living masterpiece of nostalgia”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

visited with my wife and 9 year old son. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff are friendly and informative. It's well laid out , exciting, nostalgic and even relaxing. Whether you are young or old I am sure you will have fun, you can even have a bite to eat or have a beverage. The facilities are all clean and tidy. I've lived in Devon for some considerable time and wish I'd have come sooner. It's a gem and I've told several people already it's well worth a visit.

“Granddaughters first visit to the fair”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

If you want to go time traveling to when you were a teenager, at the fair. Or take a little one for there first ride on the Dodgems, then this is the place to visit. An old fashioned fair, as you remember them. Nothing to scary, the ghost train was excellent. Penny arcades, losing your pennies is still fun. Rides for all ages. Waltzers, Dodgems, carousels etc. great value for money, all round. Had a lovely ham salad sandwich and toasted tea cake. Well presented and very appetising. The staff are very friendly, and know all about the history of the rides, and attractions. All in all a great day out. Will definitely make a return visit. Congrats to all at Dingles for a wonderful day. Grandaughter didn't want to leave, she loved it.
