Stayed for 3 nights over a weekend this time and, as ever, the experience was excellent.

Paul and Margaret are very friendly and made us welcome in their lovely guesthouse. The rooms had all that we needed and were clean and well maintained. The guesthouse is quiet over-night and this allows for good sleep.

Benefitting from such a central location, there is easy access to areas such as Dartmoor and both the North and South coasts of Devon and Cornwall. Paul and Margaret are very knowledgeable of the local area and are more than happy to recommend good places to visit which is very useful.

The dining experience is probably the best aspect of a stay here. The food is beautiful and some of the best we have tasted. The service is first class with very helpful and attentive waitresses working politely and professionally to ensure the dining experience is perfect, which it was for us, every time.

We enjoyed our stay immensely and would heartily recommend a visit. There are no complaints from us, Tinhay Mill Guesthouse and the people who work within it are lovely.

Excellent. 10 out of 10.

Driving around, clueless, and desperately looking for a place to stay, we stumbled upon this B&B. The place is charming, the rooms very nice, with modern amenities and the most comfortable bed we've found on this trip. The hosts were very nice and very helpful in suggestions of where to go and what to see. The breakfast was top-notch. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend the Tinhay Mill to anyone who finds themselves in the area.

We used Tinhay for my Mum's 80th Birthday meal for a large party. Margaret helped to select a suitable choice of menu. All arranged via phone and internet. On arrival we had a lovely welcome and excellent service. The food was beautifully served and tasted wonderful. Mum had a super time and we all have many happy memories of the occasion. Margaret and Paul were really considerate and added their own birthday congratulations. highly recommended.

Stayed for 4 nights in April while in Launceston for a wedding. Fabulous room, excellent home cooked food. Paul and Margaret couldn't have made us more welcome. They both showed particular thoughtfullness and kindness when I had a really bad back during our stay. Thank you both so much for everything! Hope to be back when we are down your way again.

You feel welcome here from the start. Clean room, excellent food, friendly atmosphere, wonderful breakfast. We will be coming here again for sure. The managers make you feel at home. It´s a excellent location for drives to surrounding sights in both Devon and Cornwall.
