“Great site”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

We have just come back from an enjoyable 6 days at Warcombe. The pitches are fabulous, they are spacious and well spread out. Our pitch was nice and quiet and close to the toilet facilities. Toilet facilities were very good. We were by the smaller block and there was always toilets and showers available. Shower rooms/ large wet rooms were very spacious and well thought out, with loos, sinks and paper towels too, the squeegy was a great addition. The park is great. The fishing lake was amazing, we caught 22 fish!! Will definitely be coming again. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Would give 5 stars if the taps were free running and didn't keep turning off after 2 seconds and if the shower temp was adjustable. They were very generously warm, which is ideal for a cold day, but too hot on a hot day!!

This was a trip to baptise my wife and son in to camping and I couldn't have asked for a better campsite. Excellent facilities, great staff, very clean with no problems, very large pitches, great play area and just down the road from Woolacombe Bay. We will definately be returning.

Room Tip: The premier pitches are great.

What a superb site very well laid out - superclean superb shower blocks - Very friendly and helpful staff. If you dont want a full on Club House and Bingo type commercial site this is for you - 20 mins Walk 5 mins drive to one of the best Beaches in the UK at Woolacombe, so if you surf this is a great base.

Booked this very last minute and camped for 2 nights. Couldn't of been happier, on arrival staff were helpful and welcoming, drove us around the site to choose our pitch, showers and washrooms were always clean, brilliant facilities. Walk to the beach took about 25mins downhill the way there so not so good on way back, taxi didn't cost a lot though and walking past the other camps I'm glad we chose warcombe as it seemed much more personalised. The stonebaked pizzas at the site sat night were a brilliant idea and tasted amazing! I Don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to share how amazing our weekend stay was and will hopefully be able to return very soon!

This isn't usually the sort of campsite we stay on - large and commercial looking - however it was great. Very clean, amazing showers, large camping pitches and quiet. Just outside Mortehoe, which is a pretty little village. Would recommend.

Have been coming here for 6 years and will keep coming back. First class shower block and never had to queue. The family bathrooms are excellent with underfloor heating and all the family can pile in together, great if you have little ones. I used a large plastic crate when my son was three and filled it up like a bath as he didn't like showers. The owners are extremely helpful and the setting is beautiful. We make great use of the fishing lake as the kids find it very easy to catch fish so don't get bored with waiting. Over 6 years we have had all types of weather and have never been water logged. Can be a bit blowy on the top of the site but is more sheltered down the hill. I find the new style premier pitches a bit regimented compared to the grassy layout that used to be here but thats just personal choice. New addition to the site was a visit from The Cauldron take away van on Sunday evening which served koftas, pulled pork wraps, Greek salads etc. fabulous and much better than a burger van although portion sizes a little on the small size. Woolacombe beach is 10mins by car and parking is about £5-£6 a day and gets very busy on hot days so don't lie in. Already planning 2014.

We stayed at Warcombe Farm for 4 Days as a family. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. The site is very well kept and the toilets and showers were always clean, warm and tidy (and I am quite picky !) The campsite boasts beautiful views across the countryside into the ocean. We stayed in our caravan on a fully serviced pitch - which my husband absolutley loved - as no to-an-fro trips to the water taps and waste water were needed! but I would also say that the lovely hide away areas between the trees and flowers were delightful for those who liked secluded camping but with all the benefits of a larger site. The children loved the play area and being able to fish. The lake is also very well thought out, well stocked and looked after. We enjoyed the woodland walk with it's nice bit of nature it is a pleasant but not too long walk (as we were on holiday after all !) but for those more entusasitic walkers it does give you direct access into the public footpaths for miles and miles across the fields We will definatley be back !!
