A beautiful spot. Camping is very hilly, very few flat spots but worth it for the amazing view.

Camp shop well stocked and guy who runs it is very friendly.

Launderette rarely in full working order, and quite pricey too.

Shower block is large but old, dated and in serious need of some TLC. Shower water is lukewarm if you're lucky... not ideal after a long day on the beach, or if you have children! Only ONE plug for hair dryers etc for the whole site...???!! Be prepared to queue a while or go frizzy...!

Stay in one of their caravans and it's a different story. Was disgusted to discover the bed linen under-sheets and pillow cases (you take your own duvet cover etc to put on top) are NOT CHANGED IN-BETWEEN CLIENTS...!!!! Owner stated this herself, then realised what she'd said! Fridge broken on arrival, as was caravan door. Caravan was left immaculate on leaving, yet cleaner complained she actually 'had to use cleaning products' to get it ready for the next customer...???!!! So if you don't mind dirty, sweaty under sheets on your beds, and having to take an array of cleaning materials with you to leave the place completely spotless (what DO they want to do for the £600/700 they charge for these old units?!) then you should be fine.

Oh... And don't expect a warm welcome on arrival after your journey. Owner and daughter could definitely do with a lengthy trip on a 'customer management' course...!!

Overall an experience NEVER to be repeated... Good job there's plenty of other friendly, clean accommodation in the area!

My wife thought this was the best campsite we stayed at this year. A great location for exploring the area with stunning views and good local walks. The grounds and facilities are well kept with a well stocked shop on site. The owners were friendly and knowledgable and we would definitely recommend.

My family and I have been going to North Morte for the last 20 years. We love the fantastic scenery and lovely walks. Morte Farm is an unspoiled location to stay, great for couples and families. Walks to Lee bay, the Light House and many other beautiful walks along the coast line. Walking distance to three pubs, fish n chip shop and shops. A must have when you visit is a Cream Tea, scones, clotted cream and Strawberry jam with a pot of Tea. There are a number of beautiful beaches that stretch along the North coast line from Woolacombe to Croyde Bay. It is a Surfers paradise.

We arrived at quite possibly the busiest weekend of the year. Had rang in previous years to book but had never visited due to the 'no booking for campers' policy. Took a chance this time as the parents were staying in their camper. We weren't disappointed! Lovely site, found a spot not too hilly despite the site being almost full. My only criticism would be....one toilet and shower block for campers. We drove through three fields beyond the toilet block before settling just one field away. I wouldn't want to be in the furthest field away. All said and done though, all facilities were tip top and we will return.

North Morte was the first campsite we stayed at when we started camping and remains one of our favourites. Every time we return we are blown away by the views and location. The site staff are friendly (only once have we had a luke warm welcome) and the shower and toilet facilities are kept very clean and in good order. The atmosphere at the site always seems to be just right, it is relaxed and children can play happily, and there is little noise at night. Keep up the excellent work!

Recently returned from a week staying in a static caravan.
The caravan was very clean and had everything that we needed in it.
Well stocked and reasonable priced shop on the site.
A peaceful, well kept site :)
