Its always a treat to have proper home cooked food, this family run restuarant is on good form again in 2012. My Wife said the sole with prawns and along with a big choice of fresh cooked vegetables was a delicious choice and I had a very good steak. In this part of North Devon the food in so many places varies from year to year but with the owner doing the cooking at the Rockleigh this is not the case. There is a choice of 6 or 7 starters, mains, and deserts and you need to be hungry to tackle the 3 courses. If you can only manage a starter and a main if you ask for an extra plate you may share a dessert and have the full experience of a yummy pudding!
They can only handle about 25 covers at any one time so book up at the weekend or in high season.
