What a shame.we visited this pub as we do every year whilst on holiday nearby.we would normally go at least 3 times, the food is always good but we were really put off by the dirty condiments .all it takes is to empty them and place in a dishwasher.it was weeks of ground in dirt on the salt, pepper and vinigar pots.please please address this issue I would not like to see your business's suffer .

This is a pretty pub and restaurant in a lovely North Devon village. We found it by chance while exploring the area. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of visiting Mortehoe.

One of 3 pubs in Morthoe, but my choice for its great tasting food from a reasonably varied menu to its fantastic tasting cakes and ice creams. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was reflected in the great service; nothing was too much trouble! Also, there is a good choice of local and more well known beers and ciders on tap. Yet again, pets were welcome and water was available for thirsty dogs.

Went as a family of 5 plus dog (despite other reviews its not the only dog friendly pub in morthoe). Good selection of food on the menu plus specials. Young staff were friendly but our bill was wrong with extra charge for cheese on a margarita pizza. Landlady a bit grumpy.
