“Eden Lodge was everything we hoped it would be and more”
Reviewed 12 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The lodge itself is stunning, spotless, and surrounded by Somerset countryside. It's speparated from the main house so it's private, but close enough that if you needed anything you wouldn't have go far. The lodge overlooks a garden with some rather fetching resident hens tucked away at the bottom! We had such a warm welcome which settled us in - plus eggs from the residents and chocolate cake! What we also liked about Eden Lodge was even thought it's tucked out of the way, it's close to other interesting towns like Taunton, that are quick and easy to get to. Eden Lodge was also much easier to get to than we'd expected for two people who aren't always so great with directions! Also the hot tub was awesome :)

“Wow”
Reviewed 11 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Wow - simply incredible place. Myself and girlfriend stayed there this week and absolutely adored the place. Will def be back.
From the perfect location, to the extra little touches (cake and fresh eggs on arrival), it was just the perfect getaway.
The hot tub was the icing on the cake!
Absolutely perfect - see you next year

“A place of peace and heaven.”
Reviewed 23 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We stayed at Eden lodge for my girlfriends 21st birthday as a surprise getaway. Unfortunately my car broke down a week before going that resulted us to getting the coach, rob and coring were really understanding and helped us out with lifts all weekend which was very sweet, they had amazing hospitality and made us feel very welcome. As for the lodge it was immaculate, a place of heaven. The view and quietness was enough for us but the hot tub was the icing on the cake. I would recommend anyone to come here and we will definitely be returning in the future.

“Absolutely Wonderful!”
Reviewed 16 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We stayed at Eden Lodge over the last weekend of Feb, beginning of March 2015 and it far surpassed our expectations! After reading the reviews, we were expecting it to be lovely, but we were blown away!

The whole lodge was absolutely spotless, complete with eggs, lemon drizzle cake, team coffee and fresh milk all waiting for us as we arrived. We were met on our arrival and shown how to work everything, the heating was on and the fire was going, the hot tub was even ready to go.

We chose Eden Lodge as a base to explore Devon and it was ideally located. We were a bit early in the season to visit may of the local attractions, but we had a lovely time at Knightshayes National Trust property down the road in Tiverton, and cycling along the canal, even if we did get a bit wet!

Rob and Corin were lovely and so so helpful. We had a good chat with them both on our arrival and departure, but Rob even came to check we were ok in the middle of a thunderstorm that briefly took the power out, complete with lantern! We really appreciated that!!

The lodge was warm and cosy, we had the fire going each evening and didn't really need much more than the one basket of logs supplied. It would have been useful to have a glove to open the log fire because the handle obviously got hot, but we got by with a tea towel, so no problem at all. There was everything you could need in the kitchen, and even complimentary toiletries which was a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfy, as was the sofa bed when we pulled it out to watch a film under the duvet! As I've already mentioned, the hot tub was ready for us as we arrived, but extremely easy to use, and the fluffy robes were fab.

Overall, we would definitely recommend this property and hope to return next year!!

“Wow, A Hidden Gem & Must Stay”

We booked to stay at Eden Lodge in February and looking at the reviews and pictures we were looking forward to our stay.
We arrived on the Saturday and if you think the pictures are good well they are nothing compared to how gorgeous this place actually is.
The views are stunning and the whole setting is something that we could have only dreamed of.
We settled in after being shown around and we were both amazed by the little details that have gone into making Eden Lodge perfect.
Our stay was probably the most relaxing we have ever experienced, the setting is quiet and secure and you feel as if you are the only ones there.
The hot tub was amazing and we found ourselves dipping in and out three or four times a day.
The log burner was perfect and it was easy to get extra wood when needed.
The lovely Orange & Chocolate cakes on arrival were well received and the free range eggs were very tasty in the morning.
The only negative was the fact that we had to go home and trust me we would have stayed longer if we could!
We had an amazing 3 night stay in total luxury and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Eden Lodge.
Rob & Corin are the perfect hosts and they have an absolute gem in Eden Lodge.
They have created a dream holiday retreat that we are sure will prove to be very popular.
Will we be back?
Try stopping us, as soon as we have another opportunity we will be back!
We cant thank you enough and we look forward to visiting again.

“Perfect Honeymoon location”

The lodge is beautiful, quiet and perfect for a honeymoon/ romantic get away.
Rob and Corrin are so friendly.

Our favourite part was the hot tub and the log burning fire. We even asked for more logs as living in a city apartment ourselves this was a great extra for us we were not used to.
The hot tub was around 38-39 every time we got in and really easy to use.

The lodge itself had everything we needed, we cooked meals easily and the bathroom extra touches with creams etc. really made the place live up to its star reputation.

Thank you for a great time. We will be back :)
