Just had a 3 night stay, excellent breakfast , comfortable accommodation and very friendly owners.
The shire horses made an interesting addition to our break, not to mention the homemade cakes and scones and cream! Good sized room , lovely views.
Will definitely return.

A group of 9 of us spent a long weekend here last week and were delighted. Lovely old farmhouse, deep in rural Devon. Fiona the best hostess - nothing is too much trouble, Best of all, sandwiches and Devon cream tea are included in the very reasonable £38 pppn. The waggon ride with the lovely Shire horses is a must. Centrally situated for access to beaches, Barnstaple, Clovelly, even Lundy Island. Fiona will even cook you a sumptuous evening meal if you order in advance.

Room Tip: The pink room has attached bathroom but no proper shower!

Thank you so much for your very kind words. We loved having you all to stay. We seem to have several "get togethers" organised this year and we love entertaining you here at Higher Biddacott .
Have a great summer and we hope to see some or all of you soon.

We needed a North Devon base for a few days that would allow us to bring out dog and we had not taken to much time to research where to stay - Higher Biddacott Farm was the first place found and called.

We arrived to be greeted by a lovely family, animals and a cream tea and the wonderful experience went on from there; great breakfasts, lovely walks on the farm and interesting chats with Fiona and Jonathan about horses and farming.

This is a lovely farm house in a great location run by a couple that make you feel very welcome.

We also took the opportunity to have a driving lesson with two magnificent Shire horses Billy and Bob.

There's a lot of nice things you could say about this B&B but a wonderful place and wonderful people is a good summary.

We had a wonderful visit down to Higher Biddacot Farm. Fiona and Jonathan made us feel so at home with little touches like the Sunday paper and flapjacks all very much appreciated. It really felt like a home away from home. A couple of great drives and a quick ride on a shire horse really made the weekend unforgettable.

Thank you so much for your review. It was a pleasure to have you both to stay. So glad we managed for you to ride Billy and that you saw the wagon going out for a drive. Hope to see you soon. Fiona

A sixteenth century farmhouse, a fmaily-run working farm. The farm is worked sustainably with heavy horses, using traditional methods. Growing their on food and cutting their own wood.
The house has spacious rooms. A log fire and wood-burning stove heat the large sitting room and dining room. Scrumptious breakfasts and tasty evening meals are provided with home-grown produce.
There are opportunities to ride, walk, cycle and fish.
Very nice people, clean and beautiful. We go there almost every year for a vacation.
