Fantastic two night stay. The Dali room was huge with the most wonderful bed and bathroom. TV, DVD and fridge make it a luxury venue. Bathroom was huge with bath and large seperate shower cubicle.
Gorgeous breakfast and plenty of local pubs to choose for supper. Lovely grounds and drawing room to sit in and extremely helpful and hospitable owner. Wifi in drawing room.

The house is beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious. I slept like a baby :) The bed is super comfy. Breakfast simple but with quality products. I suggest to order one of the additional dishes listed on the menu. Domenic, the owner, is very nice and gives you a warm welcome.

This is a wonderful place to stay, fabulous rooms, beautifully fitted out with friendly attentive and efficient service at breakfast, which is magnificent in itself, with a range of locally sourced produce. The house is set in lovely grounds, very restful on a summers evening. There is a comfortable sitting room too if you get grounded by the weather. There are a couple of decent pubs within walking distance too for an evening drink or meal.

Room Tip: Try the Kandensky room!

We stayed overnight in June
Thoroughly recommend this as a welcoming tranquil spot
Privately owned so it's not full of commercial leaflets etc but rather simply elegant
Luxuriously equipped and scrupulously clean
Very quiet surroundings at the edge of pretty village
Good choice at breakfast at a table opening onto the garden
We plan to go back in May next year to see the tree peonies and massive azaleas in bloom
Very good value
Recommend the Vettriano room

We stayed here for two nights and were made very welcome. We stayed in the Macke room which was beautiful and faultless. I think this might be one of the smaller rooms but was far bigger than most hotel rooms. The bed was the most comfy I have had at any hotel and we slept so well. The ensuite was spotless with beautiful toiletries to use. Breakfast was amazing, sitting with the French doors open and eating delicious food. I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with muffins.
An added bonus was the beautiful gardens which you could relax in and watch the birds.
We felt totally relaxed after our stay and hope we will be able to stay again.
Thank you.

We stayed at this beautiful Country House Hotel for 2 nights with 5 other couples attending a nearby wedding. The whole experience was so relaxing - arriving to be served with a pot of tea and freshly made sponge cake! Lovely spacious rooms, we had a huge modern bathroom and I think all the rooms were of a similar standard and size. Dominic was extremely attentive - even found some marmite to go under my scrambled eggs! Delicious breakast too. We loved it and would highly recommend it - village up the road with a couple of good pubs and fabulous scenery all around. Just off the motorway so very easy to get to and from. Thank you for making us so welcome and comfortable!.
