I booked this b & b for my arents as it was my mums 65th birthday. When they arrived they were greeted by the owners and were made a pot of tea and biscuits. The room was spotless and fantastic choice of colours in the room and beautiful bedding and a masive bed. The breakfast was fantastic with plentiful. Kept filling up on the toast and tea etc. I found this b & b on the internet and would strongly reccomend this to anyone. Great couple and great all round. Beautiful location and great views. A big thank you for making my parents feel so welcome.

Had 2 nights here whilst attending friends brithday. Hosts are very friendly, room comfortable, clean and well appointed and a superking bed as a real bonus. Breakfast was delightful, fresh and full of flavour. Location is good, 5mins walk from sea front with views over the valley and to the right of the sea with sound of the waves rolling in.
Overall, 9.75 out of ten - the quarter missing = The ensuite was a bit on the cold side and shower water pressure a bit low for comfort but these are the only faults.

Highly recommended.

Sandunes has to be the best B&B I have ever stayed in. We were fortunate enough to have a sea view room with a balcony and could lay in bed and see the sea! Gill and Clive are great hosts, very friendly with lots of good local knowledge about restaurants, walks and surf conditions. Breakfasts were amazing with lots of choice. A good range a fresh fruit salads and great quality cooked food, with as much fresh coffee as you like. The place is immaculate but also relaxed. It is about 6 or 7 minutes walk from the village centre and the beach which is not a problem and means you don't get all the noise that goes with a busy tourist place. A real gem. We'll be back!!

We only stayed for one night, but would have happily stayed for longer if we didn't have to get back for work. Cannot begin to say how helpful and friendly the owners are. Lovely guest lounge area with fantastic views, a beautiful spot to share a bottle of wine. Woolacombe itself is very quiet out of season but I can imagine the hoards descending in the summer. Hope to return to explore the area further and would definitely stay at Sandunes again.

I can only agree with every other review in that Clive and Gill have absolutely 'nailed it' in every respect. The location is perfect, the views breathtaking, the rooms comfortable and extremely clean, breakfast choice extremely varied, well presented and most importantly well cooked. They cannot be faulted. An excellent place to stay and I would confidently recommend it. If I wanted to be really 'picky' the only thing lacking was bottled water in the room.
