We stayed here on a Sun break, so very good value, and found our caravan small but spotless and well equipped.

The bar was reasonably priced and our children had fun playing with others they met. The site went all out for Halloween with a big competition so I would recommend it if you like costume parties!

The only slight issues we had were that we could hear the music from the bar in our caravan as we were very close and the changing rooms for the swimming pool were freezing!

I would give 3.5 stars if I could as we had a nice holiday, but probably wouldn't go back.

Yet another great holiday at woolacombe sands .
Well what can I say me and my family have been coming here for years now and after three holidays this year alone we have booked two for next year and looking to book two more .
ive never met a more friendly bunch of people in my life as the staff at woolacombe sands . the kids entertainment is second to non food and drink is reasonably priced and Is on par with everywhere local to it .
caravans are always clean upon arrival and a welcoming smile from reception staff is always a good start .
in my and my familes opinion this is not only a value for money holiday but the best place to stay in the area and we wouldn't go anywhere else .

Just returned from a great short break, we stayed in an Atlantic gold caravan. It was warm and very comfortable, the beds and pillows were of great quality. Most striking was how happy and helpful all the staff were, without exception. The park was situated close to Woolacombe with the most fantastic views of the sea. The only negatives were the pool was a little shabby, and the clubhouse food was basic and a little pricey for the quality. £8+ for a microwaved steak pie and chips. To contrast, the shop sells roast chickens that were great value. In summary we had a fab time and would love to go back, especially at Halloween! The effort put in by all the staff and residents for the fancy dress eve was awesome!

Having read all the reviews previous to arriving I had my fingers crossed that they were all true, i'm glad to say they were and we had a great relaxing, chilled out weekend away. The facilities were fantastic especially for it being mid October, free crazy golf, amusements that took me back to my childhood, bowling and we loved going to the clubhouse each night for bingo. The caravan was great only one negative was the tea pot hadnt been washed and the baking tray/pan was very greasy but nothing a bit of fairy liquid couldnt sort out, everything else was spotless. The view to the beach was stunning to wake up to and also to watch the sun set. Overall a great cosy/slightly rainy weekend exploring North Devon.

The camp site not only has the best facilities and service in peak season, it continues throughout off peak. We were greeted by wooly bear when we arrived and a full list of activities and entertainments. Never disappoint woolacombe sands.

We have just returned from a long weekend at Woolacombe Sands (27-29 September) and wanted to take this opportunity to thank the team at Woolacombe Sands for a great weekend away.

I have stayed at Woolacombe Sands a few years ago and had a good time and was looking forward to returning - it didn't disappoint!

Roanne and Lynne on Reception were particularly very helpful and friendly. We were allocated a (Silver) Waney Edge Chalet (booking via The Sun holiday offer) and it was presented superbly. Thoroughly cleaned, light, roomy, a pretty bedroom, a bathroom with a bath (!) with shower and a lovely view. However, it was just over half a mile from the main site (accessible by footpath or main road) and a little too quiet/remote for our liking so Roanne and Lynne kindly offered a (bronze) caravan on the main site. We were worried about a theoretical 'downgrade' but this was not really the case. A quality caravan, it was also cleaned to a high standard, had all the basic equipment and was closer to the amenities - perfect for our short stay.

We visited the shop and the bar and each member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic - the management team should be very proud of their staff.

I would thoroughly recommend Woolacombe Sands and will return soon!
