Found this B&B by accident whilst surfing the Web. What a find!! Peace and quiet surrounds the farm building and beautifully converted stable block. The farm is tucked away in the heart of rolling countryside . Do not use the postcode but annotate your Satnav with the map supplied by website. You travel down some single track roads and the farmtrack to it, is about a mile long but once there Jaspers welcome is second to none. With no radio, televisions or phone (unless you take your mobile but that would ruin the atmosphere) it is so restful. There is wildlife in abundance, we even had to rescue a young flycatcher from the communal dining area. The large breakfast in the morning was cooked at a time to suit us and was all local produce, I haven't had eggy bread since I was young.
Overall an exceptional B&B, just like staying with good friends where nothing is to much trouble.

Myself, hubs and two of our friends decided to walk part of the South West Coastal Path over the Bank Holiday weekend. We were very late in our decision and had real problems booking accommodation to coincide with our 'stops'. Unable to find accommodation actually in Abbotsbury I decided to look at the outskirts and I am so glad I did as that was how i discovered Top Parts Bed and Breakfast in Littlebredy, about 1.5 miles outside of Abbotsbury.
From my initial email to Jasper & Jo to the minutes before leaving, we were made to feel really welcome guests. Our accommodation for the night was spent in two tastefully furnished double bedrooms, which are situated in a barn that Jasper has developed to provide a spacious, comfortable and contemporary resting environment. Both the bedrooms have wonderful roomy en-suite showers and the bed mattresses and fresh linen were so comfortable it seemed almost criminal to get out of them in the morning! The barn has a centrally located wonderfully equipped kitchen, available to use by guests, with all mod cons and also for Jasper/Jo to use to cook breakfast in the mornings. We had a wonderful hearty breakfast; coffee, fresh fruit and a full english (eggs produced by resident hens - thankyou) served with a smile and interesting conversation. Both Jasper and Jo are wonderfully warm people with so much to offer guests, we definatly will return. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and....we did make it!

What a beautiful tranquil place to stay. A renovated stable with 100% character set on farmland in the midst of fields. Absolutely fantastically designed with top of the range fittings and furniture. Jasper, Jo, Edmund and Domino were excellent hosts. Jasper made us all a very tasty breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs from his chickens!! We will all be going back again and definitely telling all our friends (and the whole world) what a relaxing place to have a break.

We arrived at Top Parts at around 9pm on a Friday night and had to leave before 8am the next morning...when we booked we were only after a place to put our heads down but once we arrived, I realised straight away I'd like to stay longer! Had a wonderful welcome and a fab nights' sleep. Rooms are lovely, the barn has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard, and the breakfast/evening room in the middle between the two rooms is a brilliant idea. The room was spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom gleaming.
Breakfast was served at the time we requested (7.30am on a Saturday morning, not everyone would be so willing) and it was really nice to eat while Jasper was cooking and chatting away.
I would love to go back to Top Parts for a long weekend rather than such a flying visit, and it is situated in a beautiful part of England, so it's in a really good location for a holiay, although a bit off the beaten path so you would probably need a car or a bike to make the most of a holiay here.

Simply a home-from-home, where you are made to feel very welcome. Small - just 2 guest rooms - but with a unique atmosphere created by the friendly owners which makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Comfortable beds, great breakfasts and fantastic hosts - you couldn't ask for more from a B&B.
Probably not for you if you want the hustle and bustle of town and nightlife, but if you want piece and quiet with wildlife on the doorstep it's perfect - and only a 5 minute drive from the coast.
Highly recommended.
