What a beautiful place to wonder around flowers fabulous although it was busy you did not realise because of layout of gardens. Lovely to be able to them buy some of the plants at very reasonable prices. Well worth visit.

“Beautiful garden with many champion trees”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

Abbotsbury is an enchanting garden. Visited on a hot day, and it certainly felt subtropical ! There are some amazing specimen trees to hunt out in the garden, including some of the biggest of their kind in the country. Look out for ginko, katsura and magnolias. The effort that goes in to the planting around the huge area of the garden is enormous, so step past the coach parties and enjoy.

“Sub tropical delight”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

This was a very enjoyable experience ,with easy to follow routes and lovely areas of plants.
The only disappointment was the restaurant which looked really tempting but had a limited choice. The pasty I had wasn't good.
We went to chesil beach afterwards where they gave you an entry discount to the garden but too late;maybe a joined ticket would help

“Superb gardens”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

These gardens are a hidden gem in Dorset. First came across them several years ago by accident & thought they were beautiful. This time went deliberately, slightly later in the year & still think they are beautiful. The restaurant has very good food & catered for the toddler we had with us. He also enjoyed running up the paths & of course the children's play area. I would recommend these gardens for all ages.
