“Afternoon of fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014 via mobile

We visited during a break away with our little lady, 3, nephew, 4 and my parents. Children under 5 go free, which is great as it's under 3's for most children's attractions. We traded in our Tesco clubcard points for our tickets, so can't complain. We arrived at lunchtime and enjoyed the food in the cafe, followed by an afternoon of playing in the barn, holding some animals and climbing in the outdoor play areas. The staff were friendly and helpful and the farm itself has a lovely layout. I agree that it is best for smaller children and some work could be done on signposting to the car park, but the little ones loved it, as did we :-)

“A good all weather attraction.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014

Took my grandson yesterday, he had a great time. What a setting! - a comprehensive soft play area in a 'tithe barn' no less. The farm itself, although not large, gave us plenty to see and do. A good selection of animals, well kept and well cared for. There are even radio controlled pirate boats on the lake, admittedly it is money in the slot, but rewarding play. There is a lovely clean cafe and well stocked gift shop, both with very helpful and friendly staff. Well worth a visit but probably more suited to the under 11s..

“Lots to do whatever the weather”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

Great for younger kids - could have spent more time there but wanted to do the swannery and the gardens as part of the package we paid for. Mat have to go again and do all 3 again!

“What a rip off”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

Took the kids (7&5) to the swannery (this was pretty-cygnets had hatched so was nice-although incredibly overpriced) and to the farm (£40 later) what a rip off. The 'farm' is no bigger than my local play park with about as many animals. The indoor play zone was freezing with hardly anywhere to sit. It was pretty appalling. I purposely didn't take them to farmer palmers as they've outgrown it but to be honest it would have been a much better day out and cheaper. This place is also in the middle of nowhere with hardly any signage. The one good thing I will say is that the staff were friendly and the pens and animals conditions were spectacular-but I'd expect nothing less at the price they charge. It warrants no more than a couple if pounds for entry and that's it.
