We (two families with young children) stayed at this caravan park during this Easter break. Our caravan was situated at a very beautiful location just in front of the sea. Though the sea was not visible from the front window due to the bund protection but the presence of the sea was very much felt with the huge sound of the waves. The caravan interior was alright (neat and clean) and was fully equipped. Only problem was the mobile network, since there were no networks available other than Vodafone. Public telephone adjacent to the reception office was a pain. It says minimum amount is 40 pence but gives hardly 10 secs talking time!!!! However, Wi-Fi connection is available with reasonable price and the internet speed is reasonable.

Stayed for one night in the campervan and the receptionist told us strictly to park exactly within a specified area (even though the place was nearly empty) and did not give us a warm welcome considering you would think they would pleased with the custom at this time of year. Cannot comment on the entertainment but takeaway shop was reasonably priced and staff pleasant.

Good location with private beach and West Bay down the road as well as the lovely Burton Bradstock. The worse part was being awoken around 7am by a donkey which then must've unsettled the sheep as they began making noise immediately after.

Either way, an average place but adequate enough for 15quid a night to park though West Bay campsite is a lot better but wasn't open for campers so we didn't have a lot of choice

Stayed at Freshwater for the bank holiday and it was fantastic. Quick easy check in, pitches of good size and plenty of space for caravan/tent, car and extra 2 man tent on pitch for teenage kids. The showers are larger than other camp sites and so clean, housekeeping seemed to be cleaning what ever time of day you visited from 6am until past midnight.
Very helpful friendly staff. Good shop with everything you need, good takeaway - closed at 11pm - longer opening hours would have being good but that is the only thing I could comment on that is not positive. Good large club house - this is not my thing but would be great if that is what you enjoy, however if you just want a quiet time in your own unit there was no noise coming from the club to disturb anyone. A fabtasitc choice of site for a family holiday, we only wish we had chosen this one for our main holiday. We be back!!!
