What a lovely B&B in the quite village of Uploaders in Dorset the owners LIz and Don a lovely couple the room was lovely we had twin room ensuite plenty of tea and coffee and hot chocolate in the room with fresh milk in the fridge with bottled water in as well we could sit in the breakfast room and watch the wild life in the back garden also they have a bee hive that had cameras on it.
They would have cooked an evening meal for you as well as breakfast the evening meal would be 3 courses.
We had a good nights sleep beds were very comfortable and a lovely shower.
Breakfast in the morning could not be faulted fresh eggs from own hens sausages home made and local bacon home grown honey from thier bees cereals and toast and plenty of tea and coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Would'nt hesitate to go back again

Lovely retreat, lovely hosts, great price and amazing breakfasts. Did I mention the ultra comfy beds and their own honey?
Very conveniently placed just off the A35 near Bridport. Friendly and homely this B&B is an utter delight.

If you can find it, you will not be disappointed, although it is extremely well-located for visiting all the places Dorset is renowned for. Set on a quiet road (that actially leads to nowhere since the road collapsed) on the side of a rise covered in trees (that looks across a stream to a wooded hill beyond), you could be forgiven for staying in all day and just looking at the view. The hosts, Liz and Don are welcoming, hospitable, frienfly and keen to impart local knowledge; oh, by the way, they do a 'cracking' breakfast, with some imaginative choices. No lunches or dinners though - for that, you need to make your own arramgements (one of which would be to walk the 100 yards or do to the local village pub - which is well worth a visit). Can't wait to return ...
